Shopping in Lanzarote is varied and colourful. From the modern shopping malls to the numerous beach front shops of Puerto Del Carmen to the Sunday market at Teguise. Wherever you shop you will find genuine bargains are to be found particularly on electrical goods and perfumes. You will discover that prices in Lanzarote are cheaper than UK dutyfree but do remember that, although a part of Spain, the Canary Islands are not considered to be within the EU where dutyfree allowances are concerned.
From Coral Beach Resort it is a ten minute stroll to one of the best shopping malls on the island - Deiland Plaza. This mall has a good range of shops, coffee bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is a ten pin bowling alley and a cinema on the site as well as a large, well stocked supermarket and an internet cafe.
There are more shopping opportunities to be had at the capital, Arrecife, where major retail outlets mingle with smaller establishments nestled in the narrow back streets.
